English for Academic Purposes (EAP), commonly known as Academic English, entails training students, usually in a higher education setting, to use language appropriately for study and career discipline. On completing their chosen course, learners can express fluently in Academic English.

This course is suitable for English learners of all age groups, irrespective of their present academic qualification. We start teaching from the basics and include key subjects such as grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, composition and creative writing. Fluency in speaking is given prime importance.
By the time you complete this course, you are able to plan a balanced speech in English . You learn critical reading and writing skills so that you can analyze and criticize logically and cohesively, about the knowledge you gain.
Programs may be divided into pre-sessional courses and courses taken alongside students' other subjects. In the former case, EAP courses may be intended to raise students' general English levels so that they can enter university.

ENGLISH PROFICIENCY COURSES FOR ARABIC SPEAKERS
''The Edge'' refers to English improvement by people of all ages and all English levels for academic performance. It combines English skills with knowledge. By the time learners complete this English proficiency course, they can express fluently and confidently in Academic English.
The Edge
Students can begin with any of these levels:
(A) Elementary
(B) Intermediate English
(C) Advanced English.
These are however, based on the CEFR system. CEFR stands for Common European Framework of Reference.
The CEFR levels provide a way of describing a person’s language proficiency.
There are six levels: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2. A1 is the lowest level in terms of ability and C2 is the highest.
On successfully completing the learning cycle of The Edge programme, participants can express themselves in writing as well as in speaking.
This programme is to be conducted online only. These classes are in small groups (4 to 5 students). The group formation would be based on English levels.
Students are trained through a phased-course when they learn to be self-confident and proactive.
